Parking at The Gresham
There are plenty of short and long term car parks within easy walking distance of The Gresham. The closest car park is 5 minutes walk from The Gresham is at the Royal Yard car park. We also have a limited number of parking permits available for use in the Swannery and Lodmoor long-stay car parks.
Please ensure that parking is requested in advance.
Trains
The station is located approx 5 minutes walk from The Gresham and many guests find this a convenient option.
Busses
Bus stops are close to The Kings Statue which is approx 7 minutes walk.
Access
The Gresham was built around 1827 and is a listed building which means that we are not able to make any adaptations to the physical structure. From pavement level there are 7 steps into the building and the guest rooms are located across several floors.
If you have any mobility difficulties, we advise you to contact us prior to making a booking as our rooms are located across six floors and we do not have a lift.
We will always do our best to assist you with storage for wheelchairs or other physical aids and advise calling us to discuss your needs. We will be able then to further explain the layout of the property.
Although we do no accept pets, assistance dogs are welcome but we ask that you contact us.
