Lyme Regis
Nestled approximately halfway along this moderate section of the South West Coast Path is the lovely town of Lyme Regis.
The South West Coast Path is England’s longest waymarked long-distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles, running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset. Weymouth is mid-way on the Dorset stretch and the Gresham is ideally located for a stop-over along the route and perfect for a rest day.

Spectacular scenery awaits on both of these sections of the southwest coast footpath, from Golden cap to Chesil beach, the views are outstanding.
This section of the SW Coast Footpath begins at Ferry Bridge, you can head to portland on the road/cycle path or across the shingle ridge of Chesil Beach.
This is a walk of breathtaking views, dramatic, rugged cliffs, nationally rare plants and hidden coves.
