Nestled approximately halfway along this moderate section of the South West Coast Path is the lovely town of Lyme Regis, a great lunch stop on your walk.
Lyme Regis and the surrounding area are renowned for their natural beauty, it has a fascinating history stretching back to the 8th century and is also famous as the birthplace of Mary Anning, one of history’s most important fossil collectors and palaeontologists.
